Last time I talked to you, I was at #26 and now I’m at #24.  On Experts Exchange.  Part of the reason is that TPTB have been catching up on old abandoned questions that I participated in.  This Verbosity will be the end of me.  I’d never make it in Politics.

I’m still at #28 on the Experts Exchange All-time list.  The ‘advancement’ takes more effort this close to the top and I’m not trying all that hard.  I keep gathering points but not very fast.  I’ll probably be #27 soon but I’ve been #28 since last June it appears.

It’s July 2015 and I’m up to #28 on the Experts Exchange All Time list.  They keep making changes that in my opinion make the site operate worse instead of better.  So many people and places seem to act like they are always decorating a cake made of concrete like the decorations are going to make the cake taste better.  I don’t think so.  But then… nobody ever asks me.

And this is supposed to be another paragraph.

Yep, this is my post for 2015.  I’m up to #30 on the Experts Exchange All Time list.  I’m happy about that.  I keep slowly moving up.  A number of the people above me have stopped ‘playing’ so I will eventually pass them.  But the number of points between us at this level is pretty high at times.  I average about 140,000 points a month.  It will take me about a month and a half to pass the next person on the list if they are not making any points anymore.

Well… I’ll be back next year at least to update you on the slow happenings in my E-E life if nothing else.  Slow indeed.

I have moved to 38th All Time in Experts Exchange And… I have a Savant certification because I now have more than 10 million points.  !!  Hurray for me.

I still enjoy answering questions but I’m not nearly as anxious about getting points any more.  I am after all ahead of about 200,000 other people on Experts Exchange.  The #1 expert has about 35 million points.  At the rate I’ve been going, I should get there in about… 13 more years.

I’ve made it up to #40 in the Experts-Exchange All Time list and I’ve got ‘certs’ in 83 Topic Areas.  I’m in the top 10 in 9 of those areas including #6 in PHP.  So I’m doing alright.

I did the full backups of 6 of my computers today.  One of them, the one that I use the most, is taking over 5 hours.  I guess I could off-load the 26 GB of Mexican Pop Music that was on it when I got it.  But hey!  I might listen to it again some day.

And I’ve made a post in 2014 now so I’m not too far out of date here!

The years keep slippin by here on the almost abandoned blog.  I’m up to #57 on Experts Exchange.  It’s a lot more difficult to move up now since I’m up with the other Experts now.  Mostly it seems I’m just keeping pace with the others now.

Another new year and a post is needed.  I’ve been answering questions on Experts-Exchange and I’m up to #85 with a Genius Certificate in PHP.  I should get there in HTML and CSS later this year probably.

I answer questions because I learn more by coming up with an answer than by asking someone else about it.  It’s also one of those humbling experiences where you find out you don’t know as much as you thought you did… and someone else knows more about the current question at times.!

I do actually do some work at times.  Try to fit it in between Experts-Exchange and Facebook, my two great time wasters.  But they’re fun and I like them for the entertainment value also.

I put this up as just a demo and that’s worked out.  I’ve put up 3 other WordPress Blogs for other people now.  But as you can see from the posts,  I don’t get back to my own very often.  Matter of fact, I’m just posting this so I’ll have something in 2011!
